American Solar Is Proud To Announce Our First Sedna Aire USA 5 Ton Packaged Unit Installation!!

On May 19, 2010, American Solar Energy, LLC, in partnership with SunCool Energy Company of Stuart, Florida, completed the installation of our first Sedna Aire USA Solar-Assisted 5 Ton Packaged Heat Pump! Under the direction of Harold Markey, Director of General Services for Martin County, Florida, the 5 Ton Heat Pump and Solar Collector were installed on the Mosquito Control Building, Engineering Services Division of Martin County. It replaced a 5 Ton packaged unit that had been in service for many years and was recorded drawing 23.6 amps the day it was replaced. On May 24, 2010, performance data was gathered on the new system. The Stage 1 compressor amperage was a mere 10.6 and a Stage 2 compressor amperage of only 14.8! We would like to thank Farmer and Irwin Corporation of Riviera Beach and Platt's Air Conditioning and Heating of Palm Bay for their vital role in this endeavor.
